Suicide Commando einen Underground Hit, der sich in den folgenden Jahren international szene- und genreübergreifend ausbreitete. Ob im New Yorker Club Limelight oder in Indie-Clubs im Ruhrgebiet, ob auf der Loveparade in Berlin oder dem Sonar-Festival in Barcelona:
Suicide Commando wurde überall gespielt und erreichte schließlich einen Status, der den Titel für prominente Remixer interessant machte. Nicht zuletzt durch die Interpretationen von
DJ Hell oder
Echopark (Torsten Stenzel, Moguai) ist
Suicide Commando heute so aktuell wie vor 25 Jahren.
Pünktlich zum Jubiläum des Titels präsentiert ROOF Music mit
Remake/ Remodel ein Doppelalbum, das zu gleichen Teilen die Gegenwart und die Vergangenheit der Band
No More beschreibt.
CD1 (Remake) enthält Mash-Ups klassischer
No More Titel wie
Too Late,
In A White Room oder
Quiet Days In My Hometown, die eine spannende musikalische Mischung der originalen 80er Produktionen mit aktuellem LowFi- oder ElektroClash-Sound darstellen.
Zusätzlich bietet
Remake mit
Schwarzen Mann gesehn,
Hiroshima Mon Amour oder
Teenage Years auch neue Produktionen, die den Ausgangspunkt für die Neuformierung von
No More legen.
CD2 (Remodel) ist als CD-Extra angelegt und enthält neben einem Audioteil umfangreiches Videomaterial.
Remodel konzentriert sich dabei fast völlig auf den Hit
Suicide Commando und verdeutlicht an Hand der besten Mixe und Remixe, welche Entwicklung der Titel in den letzten Jahren genreübergreifend durchlaufen hat. Analog sind die Versionen von Szenegrößen wie
